Course Overview

The Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago (PCTT) has a Voluntary Order known as the Presiding Elder. Presiding Elders are entrusted with the authority of pastoral care and to administer the Sacraments (Holy Baptism and Holy Communion). The Certificate in Presiding Eldership places emphasis on the Sacraments and Church Administration of The PCTT.

Requirements: Preference will be given to applicants who are forty-five (45) years and over. Students are expected to meet the basic requirements for entry into the programme. A student may meet any of the following two requirements:

• Five CXC/GCE passes (Grades I-II) including English Language or its equivalent.

• Consideration will be given to students who are 45 years and over but do not possess five (5) subjects at Ordinary Level.
