Old Testament Prophets

This course is a survey of the prophets and prophetic books of the Old Testament. Students will be introduced to the meaning and mission of a prophet, and to the prophetic books consisting of the Former Prophets and the Latter Prophets. Emphasis is placed on context, theological content and scope as well as historical considerations of the development and function of prophecy.
