Course Description: This course is an introduction to New Testament Greek vocabulary, grammar and syntax with an introduction to the New Testament in Greek. It provides an introduction to the basic elements of New Testament Greek alphabet, grammar and syntax. It focuses on elementary explorations of translation, and its relation to reading.
Interpreting texts in context is addressed through the readings from the New Testament particularly the Gospel of John. Help shall be given in the effective use of resources such as grammars, lexicons, concordances, and the practice of textual criticism parsing guides, and interlinear sources whether in computer or book format.
