COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course focuses on the major aspects of homiletics, guiding students through the movement from biblical exegesis to the crafting of a sermon, as well as the practice of preparing and preaching sermons. The theological foundations of homiletics will introduce students to the theology of the Word of God and the theology of preaching, including an exploration of the definition, purpose, and principal types of preaching and teaching.
