COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course explores five of the major world religions, fostering an appreciation for the faith of the “Other.” It introduces students to the study of religion by examining the history, doctrines, beliefs, practices, and institutions of these traditions.
Wherever possible, each religion is studied from the perspective of its own scholars, theologians, and adherents, allowing for a respectful and informed understanding of diverse religious experiences.
